Spiritual Artwork

Inspired and informed by my connection with and love for nature. I work mostly with mirrored glass in mosaics though rarely onto a flat surface, I prefer to build a flowing relief in plaster then to cut the mirrored sheets one piece at a time to create mandalas that in some way embody the connection I feel inside.  I love the reflective qualities of mirrored glass and especially in mosaics when the multi faceted reflections of the individual come to life.

I also love to work in clay. I enjoy the immediacy of the material and am drawn to hand-build forms that are raw in their expression. I like to explore how far I can push the clay and work with texture.  I love curves and natural flow my work reflects this.
